I adore my cats. 

This shows in the quality and temperament of my cats and kittens. 

As a small scale Maine Coon breeder, I breed with a focus on pet Maine Coon cats and kittens that will be healthy, happy and loved by caring owners. That is priceless to me. 

I am devoted to the health, temperament, and beauty of each one of the loving cats and kitten at this cattery.

It all comes down to love.

Health & testing

Every cat in my breeding program is fully vetted regularly. This includes wellness exams, vaccinations, testing, flea & tick treatments, etc. They are negative for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline AIDS (FIV).

 

I also have them DNA tested for more than 120 inherited health diseases and traits including:

  • hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
  • polycystic kidney disease (PKD)
  • spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)

An echocardiogram is also done to check the structure and function of the heart once each breeding cat reaches the appropriate age.

 

Doing these things helps in keeping my breeding line heathy.

The International Cat Association is the world’s largest genetic registry of pedigreed cats and the largest registry of household pet cats and kittens. TICA also maintains written standards for cats of all breeds, promulgates the rules for cat shows hosted by its affiliated clubs, and trains and licenses judges for those shows.

 

My cattery as well as all my cats and kittens, now and to come, are and will be registered with TICA as they are pedigreed. I do not currently show any of my cats but I have an interest for cat shows and will begin to show my cats very soon!
